Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Leer replacement prop rod clip set. This is going to replace the prop rod clips on your Leer tonneau cover that will hold your prop rod in place. This is a direct replacement from Leer so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, size fittings, and those sort of things. They do include instructions to walk you through that very simple installation process, as well as the Allen wrench that you're gonna need to get these installed.
So, very simple to do. If your originals have become damaged and you're wanting to have your prop rods held in place so that they're not swinging around, that sort of thing, these are gonna be the exact replacements from Leer that you need. I have a Leer Tonneau cover for a 2019 Ford Ranger. I broke one of the Prop Rod Clips. I contacted Leer for a replacement and they referred me to two dealers in my area. They were not really interested in helping me get Leer parts. After an online search I found etrailer and ordered the part online. Two days later the part arrived and the issue is resolved!

A touch on the pricy side for what I ordered and received, however etrailer is the only outlet I have found that carries Leer tonneau cover repair parts. So as the parts may have seemed a bit overpriced I was glade to get my hands on the parts. And the parts were an exact fit and worked perfectly.

Great response to solving my broken clip problem! Tried the local shop where I purchased my truck bed cover. They flunked the test by promising to get back to me with the Prop Rod Clips but blew through three weeks and no results.

Overpriced for what I received. These prop rod clips are made of plastic and easily break. For what I paid, they should be made of metal so they last
